The RedBag system is comprised of a Red Bag containing emergency supplies located in every classroom and RedBagRadio a secure communications system accessed by scanning a QRCode attached to the Red Bag.
My staff and I appreciated the ease of use of RedBagRadio, you simply grab a phone or other device with a camera, scan the QRCode attached to the RedBag and immediately you know what to do, know what is going on and know how to get help.
Staff are able to receive information and updates from district security personnel as well as communicate any needs that they have in their space.
From the incident command perspective, I appreciated that I could be in touch with classrooms to check-in on our kids and staff and problem solve accordingly.
At the end of the drills, my staff was asked to complete a short survey. 96% of my staff members indicated that having RedBag in their classroom makes them feel safer.

Chat Feature to Communitcate with Emergency Responders
Silent- two- way communication between first responders/school leadership directly into each individual classroom. Providing teachers/staff with the ability to receive factual information and summon help directly when needed.
